AI Info Guide
Our standard

Facts you can trace.

AI tools change fast. We show where each fact came from and when we checked it, so you can judge the evidence yourself.

Official sources first

Pricing and feature facts need a current vendor pricing page, documentation, help article or app-store listing. Third-party directories, reviews and search summaries are discovery leads, not proof.

One fact, one source, one date

Each supported field carries a source link and a checked date in Central Time. A page-level date never silently makes every field current. Vendor statements are reported as vendor statements, not proven performance.

Unknown stays Unknown

If a price is hidden, currency is unclear, pages conflict or plan limits are not tied to a billing basis, we do not fill the gap. Unknown does not mean the tool lacks the feature. Company legal identity and headquarters also remain Unknown until a suitable source is checked.

Pricing is more than a starting number

We distinguish per-seat subscriptions, annual commitments, credit pools and per-outcome charges. A platform subscription is not automatically an AI-agent usage price. Promotions, tax and separate prerequisites need their own labels. Offer markup is emitted only for a confirmed USD price and basis.

Editorial fit is separate from evidence

Our "for your team" notes interpret a vendor's stated use case. They are not hands-on tests, endorsements or scored rankings. We do not claim that a tool is accurate, safe or effective because its vendor says so.

Freshness

The checked date is the last completed review, not a promise of today's price. High-interest prices are queued for monthly review; others for quarterly review. Changes stay in internal records. Verify current terms with the vendor before paying.

News has a separate gate

Drafts do not publish themselves. News needs the full original source, event date, source links, a duplicate check and a review of every factual claim. Unsupported claims and stale events are held, not softened into publishable text.

Money does not buy the facts

Affiliate links and any future paid placements must be labeled. Payment must not change the verification standard or be mistaken for a recommendation.
